    Hand Wash

    Your entire car is thoroughly hand washed and hand dried. The interior is then meticulously vacuumed. All windows are cleaned inside and out. The wheels are detailed by hand and the tires are dressed.

    Includes the hand wash plus a hand wax of the finest Carnauba quality.

    Super Interior (DETAIL)

    For Hand Wash cars that need a little more TLC inside to get you back up to your standards....Includes 25 minutes of extra vaccuuming/dust work/etc. where you need it. Does not include any shampooing but estimates for spot shampoo are available on demand. Price starting at:

    Buff & Wax

    Your auto is hand washed and thoroughly vacuumed. We then remove bugs, road tar, and oil deposits. A cleaning compound is then applied with a professional buffer to remove ground-in dirt, oxidation, and blemishes without damage or removal of your vehicle's clear coat finish. Next, a hand wax is applied of the finest Carnuba and Dupont Teflon wax. Your car is like new again.

    Interior Shampoo

    A complete cleaning and detailing of the interior of your vehicle. All seats, carpets, mats, and door panels are shampooed. The console, dash, and instrumentation are meticulously cleaned.

    Master Detail

    This is our complete detail package for a thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior of your car. It includes the Hand Wash, Buff & Wax, and Interior Shampoo. Your car will be immaculate from front to rear.

    Compounding... Free Estimate

    A special compound is used to remove severe blemishes and heavy oxidation from your auto's paint. This process is then followed by our Buff & Wax service.

    Yates Carwash & Detail Center has been family owned and operated in the heart of Old Town Alexandria since 1991.  Founded by Jeff Yates Sr, a true 'car guy' and automotive expert, we've always prided ourselves on the Personal Touch -- the little extra that our staff does by hand.

    2020 brought lots of changes: We now have a brand-new, state-of-the-art tunnel machine, the latest cleaning chemistry which is eco-friendly and gets the job done, and fresh new look to the building.  But despite all the new changes - you'll see all of those familiar faces, now led by Jeff Jr, the founder's son, and his wife Kelly.   Come see us with your car soon!
